Philadelphia's First Toastmasters
is a community club affiliated with Toastmasters International since 1947. We were recognized by TI as a Select Distinguished Club for 2006-07.

The Northeast Times has published an article about our club. Read it here.

Toastmasters International is the leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality. The mission of our club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. Independence Hall, Philadelphia
It is not necessary to make an advance reservation, but it would be a good idea to contact us first, just in case there's been a late change made in meeting format, time or place. Our club gatherings are conducted as business meetings, with members and guests attired in appropriate business dress. The cost per person is $5, which covers our meeting room expenses. Click here for membership information. **You're welcome to attend a few meetings before deciding whether to join.** We meet at Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Road, Philadelphia, PA. This is at the intersection of Levick Street and Martins Mill Road. Meetings are held on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month and start at 7:00 PM sharp and run until 9:00 PM. There is a break for light refreshments. Please visit our Map page for detailed information.
